PEMF on Hay House Radio - Interview

Is the Earth just a place we call home just because it happens to be habitable? Or is there much more to this relationship than we know? In the book PEMF – The 5th Element of Health, learn why pulsed electromagnetic field therapy supercharges your health like nothing else.

Bryant A. Meyers

Bryant A. Meyers presents a much more symbiotic scenario, wherein human beings evolved to depend on the magnetic field of the planet. Chad Tuthill talks to Bryant about this deep connection and the way people are unknowingly hurting themselves by building walls that cut us off from the planet we call home.

Chad Tuthill:

“We should start by learning a bit about your background and how it led you to writing this book. Where did your interest in physics some from?”

Bryant Meyers:

“I’ve always been interested in some of the deep questions of the universe. I actually went to school for a degree in biology and pre-med and ended up switching to physics because I had a deep interest in it.

Energy medicine is something that combines both biology and natural medicine with physics. So I found a home where I could combine my passions for both health & wellness, which is why I did change my major from pre-med because I got a little disheartened with the medical system – at least the overall approach. We’ve got great emergency care in this country, but when it comes to chronic illnesses even they admit they just don’t have an answer.”

Earth’s natural PEMF

Chad Tuthill:

“Let’s talk about the five elements of health. People are familiar with food, water, oxygen, and sunlight. But the fifth element is the Earth’s natural PEMF. Can you explain why that is so vitally important to our health?”

Bryant Meyers:

“That’s really the whole purpose of my book, to educate the world at large. Most people understand that there’s a magnetic field on the Earth. But most don’t realize that it’s essential. And, on top of that, most people don’t realize that the magnetic field has a frequency to it. Along with the frequency of the magnetic field, there’s a frequency called the Schumann resonance of the ionosphere. We evolved with these subtle energies since the beginning of our human evolution. Our whole body assumes that frequency. All our cells, all of our systems, even our brain patterns are synchronized by the Earth’s rhythms.

It’s fascinating to me that the Schumann resonance almost exactly matches the alpha brain wave pattern of the human brain. That’s verified with an electroencephalogram. There’s very, very good evidence to show that not only are these PEMF Earth frequencies good for us, but they are essential.”

Chad Tuthill:

“You talk a lot about the human energy field as well. Can you explain that. I think it goes a long way toward explaining how electromagnetism plays a large role in our health.”

Bryant Meyers:

Human Energy

“This is what really fascinates me. This is why I like physics too. Mainstream medicine is so focused on the physical body. There’s very little talk about the energy fields, unless you get into EEGs and EKGs that are measuring electrical pulses in the body. But they don’t go much beyond that. They try to keep it as physical as they can.

Going back to the ancient systems of acupuncture, and the Indian system of nadis, they had an understanding of the human energy field. What is fascinating to me is that human energy fields are no longer “new age” or “mystical” or folklore. They have been proven.”

Chad Tuthill:

“You talk about how we are almost dependently connected to the Earth. We start going a little crazy when we’re separated from it. Do you think that lends credence to the whole Gaia Theory?”

Earth’s natural PEMF

Bryant Meyers:

“I think it definitely lends credence to the Gaia Theory. It started off as the Gaia hypothesis, but because of so much evidence it’s now called the Gaia Theory. The Gaia Theory uses the Earth as the self-regulating organism. Just as our bodies are, but at a much higher level of complexity and dynamics. We are like cells within the Earth, metaphorically. The feedback loops are undeniable. The Earth is giving us exactly what we need. There’s this interdependence. The food that we eat is what the Earth gives us. On another star system or another planet, there might be a totally different set of elements. It might have different types of food. Different types of liquids. But the point is that if you had evolved on another planet you would need the elements of that planet. There’s a lot to say about the Gaia Theory, but I do think that it reinforces the connection between us and the planet.”

Chad Tuthill:

“Why do you think we do our best to sever that connection? You talk about how we have all this concrete, steel, rubber, and insulation around us. Why do humans have that instinct to separate ourselves from it, if we are so vitally fed by it?”

Bryant Meyers:

“That’s a good question. I address that in my book. The fact that these frequencies are essential, then why are people suffering with all kinds of health problems. One of the problems for sure is our disconnect from the Earth’s frequencies. But it’s a two-fold problem. Also the magnetic field of the Earth is declining.”

Chad Tuthill:

“You also say we constantly surround ourselves by microwave frequencies, and that’s only getting worse.”

Wireless Phone

Bryant Meyers:

“That’s why I say, there’s not enough of the good frequencies of the Earth, and it’s too much of the bad (all the electrosmog of modern technology).”

Chad Tuthill:

“What are some of the things you think people would be surprised to learn about?”

Bryant Meyers:

“One of the things would be cordless phones. You hear plenty about cell phones, but cordless phones are actually much worse than cellphones. I don’t use cordless phones. Why? Especially in the U.S., cordless phones are operating at 4-6 Gigahertz.

The connection I try to get through to people is that a microwave oven is operating at 2.4 Gigahertz. Most of WiFi is 2.4 Gigahertz. And 4G networks are about 2.4 Gigahertz. And it’s just going to keep getting higher. I recommend that one of the simplest things you can do is just get a corded phone. Another think you can is connect to the Internet using an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi.”

Chad Tuthill:

There are so many tips like that you give in the book. I think you awaken us to so many facts that we’re thankful for. We don’t have time to go into everything now (like the holographic universe, and quantum field theory) so people are going to have to read the book. But after they’ve read it, and they begin to understand exactly why PEMF therapy is a good idea, where can they go seek it out?

Bryant Meyers:

“I give recommendations on my website: www.PEMFBOOK.com You can see the devices I currently recommend for PEMF therapy. There’s only been one unit I’ve found that really duplicates nature, really sticks to the frequencies of the Earth.

I definitely encourage people to look into PEMF therapy in general. All the PEMF devices will give you some benefit (stronger bones, pain relief, better sleep, more energy and ATP production, better oxygenation and circulation, improved immunity, and tissue regeneration). PEMF itself doesn’t heal the body; the body heals itself. And interestingly, it improves the absorption of all the other elements. It helps with nutrient absorption, better hydration, oxygenation, and also detoxification.

In my book I focus on the benefits – I don’t get into disease specifics. Ultimately the body heals itself regardless of whatever condition you have.”
